A note-for-note transcription of music from the Disney/Pixar movie The Incredibles, featuring excerpts from Life's Incredible Again and The Incredits. This is an exciting chart that begins with a jazz waltz incorporating several changes of mood via some interesting key modulations. A short four-bar interlude for the saxes stating the main theme then leads into a final fast swing section. A succession of rising dominant 7th(aug5) chords ends with a dramatic staccato A-flat/D chord played by the whole band, leaving the last few bars for solo guitar to reiterate the theme before a final tutti Gm6(9)#7 chord. Michael Giacchino's music for this successful computer-animated film was heavily influenced by styles made popular in the 1960s by film and TV composers such as Henry Mancini and John Barry. Arranged for 5444 big band, complete with score and parts.
